I can help individuals who have a new business idea or concept and wish to determine if it is financially viable. If it appears to demonstrate the potential to succeed I can help with essential startup steps to include - business plan, financing, marketing, sales, and operations.
I have been a franchisor, contractor, consultant, lecturer, writer, architect, remodeler, farm to table business owner, traveler, and food enthusiast for 42 years. As a result I have had a varied business history and have been involved in every phase of business development. But my love is helping individuals who have an idea for a new business, to bring that idea from concept to reality.
I founded a company called Archadeck in Richmond in 1980 and sold it in 2008 after opening 80 franchised locations in 5 countries. Because Archadeck (now part of Outdoor Living Brands) was a startup in an industry (residential remodeling) that was populated with every sort non-professional competitor, had no standards, no recognized market, no marketing, no selling methods, construction standards, or operational systems I was forced to develop everything required to manage and grow the business.
In addition to Archadeck I have been in a variety of businesses and non-profits which include farm-to-table produce, franchise consulting, business valuation, 3D printing, pediatric business management, Group Purchasing Organization (pediatric vaccines), business valuation, and regenerative medicine research (501-C3) and more.
